Michael Martinetti Group of Keller Williams Realty Premier Properties of Westfield is proud to announce its rank as the second top-performing large real estate team in New Jersey. This recognition comes as part of the 2023 RealTrends America's Best Real Estate Professionals report, presented in partnership with Tom Ferry International.
The accolade acknowledges the top 1.5% of real estate agents and teams in the United States, all of whom have had their performance verified for the rankings. This year, over 27,500 U.S. real estate sales associates from every state were included in America’s Best. Those ranked, such as the Michael Martinetti Group, represent the top 1.5% of the 1.6 million real estate professionals across the nation.
In 2022, the Michael Martinetti Group conducted an impressive 329 transaction sides, earning the number two ranking in New Jersey for transaction sides. Additionally, the group achieved a ranking of six in residential sales volume in the state, with a remarkable total sales volume of $162,194,049.
These impressive figures were achieved in a year of significant growth for the New Jersey real estate market. The state began 2022 with 8,525 single-family homes listed for sale, and by the end of the year, inventory increased by 16% to 9,894 homes. Concurrently, the median home price rose by 16% to $489,000, and the average price per square foot also increased by 8% to $332. Despite these price increases and greater inventory, the median days on market remained stable at 70 days throughout the year.
